Information on Essential Oils From Egypt

An essential oil is simply concentrated and distilled hydrophobic solvents containing volatile aromatic compounds derived from certain plants. The word “essential” is from Greek words meaning “necessary”, and in the case of an essential oil, the essential part is the part that has to be obtained in some form before it can be used. Essential oils have many more therapeutic uses and many more are being discovered each day. Some of these have been in use since ancient times. This is just one of the uses of oils from Egypt. For example, orange is used for acne treatment and helps cure cold sores. Rosemary is used to relieve headaches and nausea, and tea tree oil has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Other oils have antibacterial and antifungal properties and can be used for the treatment of dandruff, eczema, warts and psoriasis. Grapefruit seed oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil and Rosemary oil have anti-inflammatory properties and are good for people who suffer from eczema and rashes.
